Working as an aviation Technician and traveling the world with the Navy shaped the person I am today; however, I am still growing. Experiencing different cultures and acquiring different skills gave me the mindset to achieve my goals. The lack of satisfaction motivated me to make a change to strive for my goals while changing the lifestyle I am accustomed to, the Navy. Though it was difficult, From relocating to relearning and adjusting to challenges, finding my way into the Institution of UConn helped me to further my options. Through pursuing higher education, I plan to become an anesthesiologist. Though I realize it is a long road. Guided by motivation and sustained by patience, the process of reaching my goals will be a rewarding experience.
